spiritually damaging and inhumane

I have never put a mask on my children, however they see people in masks all the time and tell me that it is “disturbing,” “scary,” and they “don’t like it.” They avoid speaking to people who are masked.
If our bodies are temples of the divine, and I believe they are, then what does it mean to cover our faces? What are the spiritual and psychologic consequences for our children seeing people everywhere with their faces covered? Wearing masks, previously only done by criminals, changes our experience of being human by invoking fear, hiding our identities, promoting suspicion and distrust, affirming a lie, and feeding dark energies. These ethical and spiritual violations are as real as the physical harm done by impairing air flow and having foreign and/or toxic substances on the skin.
