Physical and emotional hazard of masks

My daughter faces tiredness, moodiness and now tantrums as well as headaches and lower ability to concentrate. TDSB has mandated masks to wear outside and all the attempts to talk to the principal were in vain for now. The most painful part here was that she’s scared to get an exemption because she is scared to be bullied Age9LocationToronto On

No mask No entry

I had a horrible experience on Monda March 29 at a Chapters. My three year old won’t where a mask and I refuse to make her wear it. My grade 5 has complained of having a difficult time breathing while wearing the mask at school. My grade 2 is mask exempt and has faced bullying, condemnation, and discrimination from students and teachers during school. Cant catch breath

Since wearing masks all day at school, my child began taking huge random breaths and tells us he can’t seem to catch his breath. After a doctor’s visit, assuring us he had no problems internally actually breathing, we assume the constant mask wearing—EVEN WHILE PLAYING FOOTBALL AT RECESS AND RUNNING LAPS IN P.E. CLASS—must be a contributing factor. Age 13 Location Charlotte, NC

Son has developed headaches

My son in grade 4 has recently developed headaches and has had one every day. At first, my son seemed to be ok with wearing a mask every day but with the colder weather and more indoor recesses, he doesn’t get as many breaks from it and has developed headaches. He also seems more tired after school and there are times he doesn’t want to go to school. Age9LocationEdmonton, AB
