Shortness of breath/headaches

I teach in the public school system where masks are required. As of now, I can give mask breaks to my students as they need them but I have heard many other stories where very few mask breaks are given during the day. Daughter gets stomachaches

My daughter is in 3rd grade. Her school is making ALL students wear masks all day, despite the governor’s mask mandate which only requires kids ages 10 and up wear them. My daughter says wearing the mask all day gives her a stomachache.

Trouble breathing, acne breakout

Per Gov. Lamont, children must now wear a mask under their helmet while playing ice hockey. Previously they only had to wear them in the locker room and when leaving the rink. Since this has been implemented, my son has had to wear a mask three times while exerting himself on the ice. Can’t Breathe

After church, I talked with a 9th grader in public schools who complained she was required to wear a mask all day, and she stated that she couldn’t breathe. She stated that some of her teachers gave her permission to pull her mask down under her nose so she could breathe.
